Toast Interactive is preparing for the launch of Max Mustard on the Meta Quest Store. The game, priced at US$29.99, will be available for early access starting February 14 through Meta Quest’s AppLab, with a full release planned for March 21, 2024.
Max Mustard features gameplay where players navigate through a variety of environments, tackling challenges that include shooting, swimming, climbing, and jumping. The game’s narrative centers around Max Mustard’s efforts to thwart a businessman’s exploitative schemes.
Plans for additional releases on PlayStation VR2 and PC in mid-2024 are also in place, aiming to adapt the game for different platforms. Toast Interactive will present Max Mustard at the upcoming Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, coinciding with its early access period.
The game has been developed with an emphasis on VR mechanics, aiming to provide a comprehensive platforming experience within a virtual environment.
