Meta and Sanzaru Games have revealed the latest update for the much-anticipated VR game, Asgard’s Wrath 2. The update introduced the Uncharted Rifts, a new game mode promising to add layers of depth to the already expansive VR RPG.
In this rogue-lite endless dungeon mode, players will traverse through procedurally generated dungeons where they can test their agility, encounter traps, battle adversaries, and discover treasures. The Uncharted Rifts stands as a unique selling point of the game as it fosters player interaction through asynchronous multiplayer functionalities; players have the options to either aid their friends during their dungeon runs or challenge them in a battle setting.

The developers have touted a substantial campaign for Asgard’s Wrath 2, indicating that the gameplay can span up to 60 hours, combining intensive combat sessions and endless dungeon-crawling experiences. The title is set to be exclusively available on Meta Quest headsets this winter.
As a pre-order incentive, Meta is offering exclusive in-game weapon and armor sets, along with a complimentary digital copy of the original Asgard’s Wrath for PC VR. Additional details regarding the pre-order can be found on the official game website.
