In a recently published developer diary, Meta and Sanzaru Games have unveiled an array of new features for the much-anticipated VR action RPG, Asgard’s Wrath 2. Set to launch on December 15, 2023, the game promises to offer a 60-hour campaign filled with high-octane combat, endless dungeon-crawling, and intricate character development, making it one of the most ambitious VR RPGs ever.
Playable Heroes and Living Weapons

The update introduces players to unique Mortal Heroes and their associated Living Weapons. For instance, play as Abraxxas, a fiery warrior and tomb robber, or Alvilda, a rogue-assassin with ranged abilities. These Living Weapons are designed to encourage various playstyles, enhancing combat dynamics and player interactions within the game.
Followers with Unique Abilities

In a notable feature addition, players will have the chance to meet and recruit Followers, each equipped with distinct abilities to aid in combat. Whether you need Subira’s shadow shifting skills or Pa-akhet’s whirlwind blocks, these Followers add another layer to the already complex combat system.
